Miniature Golf

This weekend we went to Rada’s 7th birthday party which was held at a miniature golf place. On the way there, I had Ethan and Zack in the back seat of my car telling a long series of scatological jokes in the form of: X poo-poos on Y, followed by hilarious laughter. For example Ethan started it out with “I have a funny joke – the elephant poo-poos on a skunk. Ha, ha, ha, ha.” This lasted for about 20 minutes as they substituted such things as cars, houses, various animals, etc. for the X and Y variables. They thought they were extremely funny.

We also had a play date with twins Max and Josh, whose dad is one of my swim buddies. The boys enjoyed making all sorts of mayhem. Afterwards we went to Crane beach where Ethan found semi-live clams (alive enough to keep shut and stick out their necks, but not alive enough to bury themselves safely under the sand). We watched the tide come in and the water was warm enough for Ethan to swim in for quite a while.
